Home / License & Credentials

Licensed, and easy to check.

You should not have to take a contractor's word for it. Every credential below is real, current, and checkable — and the person who holds them is the person who shows up to your job.

  • California Contractor License

    #1154431

Issued by the California Contractors State License Board. You can look it up yourself — the link below goes straight to the CSLB check-a-license tool.

  • EPA Section 608 Certification

    #1112519700410

Federal certification required to handle refrigerants. Working on AC refrigerant circuits without it is illegal.

  • NATE Certification

    AC Technician

North American Technician Excellence — the leading field-technician certification in HVAC. Karam holds it personally; it is not a company badge.

  • Insurance

    Licensed & insured

Everglade Heating and Air carries insurance for all residential and commercial work in San Diego County.

Why this page exists

Unlicensed HVAC work is common in San Diego, and it usually surfaces later — failed permits, voided warranties, systems sized wrong. Checking a license takes two minutes. We would rather you check ours (and any other bid you get) than find out the hard way.
